These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Peak Leaves online store.

By placing an order with Peak Leaves, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them before completing your purchase.

1. About Peak Leaves

Peak Leaves is a Swiss tea brand based in Gryon, Vaud, Switzerland.

2. Products

We aim to describe and display our teas and herbal blends as accurately as possible.

As our products contain natural ingredients, their colour, size, appearance and aroma may vary slightly from batch to batch. These natural variations do not constitute a defect.

Product packaging and presentation may occasionally differ slightly from images shown on the website.

Ingredient and allergen information, where applicable, is provided on the product packaging and/or product page. Please check this information carefully before consumption if you have allergies or dietary requirements.

3. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

We make every effort to keep stock information accurate. However, in the unlikely event that a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative or refund the affected product.

4. Prices

All prices are displayed in Swiss francs (CHF).

The price shown on the product page is the price applicable at the time you place your order.

Any taxes or other mandatory charges applicable to the sale are included in the displayed price where required.

Delivery charges are shown separately and clearly communicated before you complete your purchase.

Peak Leaves reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted.

5. Orders and conclusion of contract

You can review and correct your order, including the products, quantities, delivery details and total price, before submitting it.

By completing the checkout and submitting an order with an obligation to pay, you make a binding offer to purchase the products in your order.

After your order is submitted, you will receive an electronic order confirmation.

Peak Leaves reserves the right to reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

If payment has already been taken for an order that we cancel, the relevant amount will be refunded.

6. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available during checkout.

Payments are processed securely through our payment service providers.

Peak Leaves does not directly store complete payment card information.

Your order may not be dispatched until payment has been successfully authorised or received.

7. Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses within Switzerland.

Delivery costs CHF 3.90 per order, unless another delivery offer or promotion is clearly stated at the time of purchase.

Orders are prepared and dispatched from Gryon, Switzerland.

Any delivery times shown on our website are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Peak Leaves is not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by postal or delivery providers.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, additional delivery charges may apply before the order is sent again.

8. Returns and change of mind

Under Swiss law, there is no general statutory right to return an online purchase simply because you have changed your mind.

Due to the nature of our food products, we do not generally accept returns of tea or herbal products where there is no defect or error with the order.

This does not affect your rights if a product arrives damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise does not correspond to your order.

9. Damaged, incorrect or defective products

Please inspect your order after delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, you receive the wrong product, or you believe a product is defective, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@peakleaves.com.

Please include your order number and, where relevant, photographs showing the issue.

Where a claim is valid, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable Swiss law, which may include replacement, refund or another suitable solution.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

10. Promotions and discount codes

From time to time, Peak Leaves may offer promotional codes, introductory discounts or other special offers.

Unless otherwise stated:

Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
A discount code may be limited to one use per customer.
Discounts may have an expiry date or other conditions.
Discount codes may not be combined with other promotions or discounts.
Promotional offers may be changed or withdrawn where they have not already been validly redeemed.

The 10% first-order discount offered for joining the Peak Leaves mailing list is intended for new customers and may be used once per customer.

11. Product use and storage

Our products are intended for normal food and beverage use.

For best quality, tea should be stored according to the instructions provided on the packaging and kept appropriately sealed after opening.

Customers are responsible for checking ingredients and other product information before consumption, particularly in relation to allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements.

12. Intellectual property

The content of the Peak Leaves website, including the Peak Leaves name, branding, logos, product names, packaging designs, photographs, graphics and written content, is owned by or licensed to Peak Leaves unless otherwise stated.

This content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior permission.

13. Website availability

We aim to keep the Peak Leaves website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may update, modify or temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary.

14. Liability

Peak Leaves is responsible for its obligations in accordance with applicable Swiss law.

To the extent permitted by law, Peak Leaves is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by improper use or storage of our products.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would not be permitted under applicable law.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit our website or place an order.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to your purchase are those available when you place your order.

These Terms & Conditions and contracts concluded through the Peak Leaves online store are governed by Swiss law.

Any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law remain unaffected.

For consumer disputes, mandatory rules concerning the competent place of jurisdiction remain reserved.
