Every cup tells a story
My earliest memories of tea are with my grandmother. Every morning, we'd drink black tea together, mine with two sugars. In summer, we'd pick linden blossoms, lemon balm and peppermint from the garden, drying them for winter evenings. My other grandmother grew the most fragrant peppermint I can remember. Even as a teenager, I would leave her home with a bundle to brew, carrying that unmistakably fresh aroma with me.
Looking back, tea was never just a drink. It was a ritual.
Waiting for the kettle to boil. Watching the water slowly change colour. Breathing in the gentle scent before taking that first sip.Tea is naturally slow. It's too hot to rush, inviting small sips, deep breaths and a few quiet moments away from the noise of everyday life.
When I moved to Switzerland, that ritual stayed with me. After long hikes in the Alps, there was nothing more comforting than returning home to a freshly brewed cup while looking out at the mountains. Those peaceful moments became the inspiration behind Peak Leaves.
Every blend has been created to capture that same feeling of calm, comfort and connection with nature. Whether you're starting your morning, taking a well-earned break or winding down at the end of the day, I hope these teas encourage you to slow down and enjoy the moment.
Tea has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. My hope is that Peak Leaves becomes part of yours too.
